Specialty timber can be grown in timber belts, multipurpose shelterbelts or wood lots (blocks of trees grown solely for timber.) A number of species that are used for this are identified on our “Species List” Genetically improved or seed orchard stock are available for some of these species while others are selected best bet provenances   see our current list
